"Shahrukh" the phenomenon
The fact is that there are people who just love him and there are some who love to hate him.But the fact is he is defenitely a phenomenon whether its the film industry or the advertsing market. He is been a consistent player of sorts who has able to manage his career with personal life with pretty much of balance.People say he does monotonous kind of work playing the same rahuls and rajs but now that he is back with a bang in chakde obviously those critic's mouth are shut. But he is one who didnt had any godfather in industry, has achieved all the success by himself and is one of the prominent international figures giving challenge to the likes of tom cruise may be even more popular. And the great thing about his career is that it had not ever any impact on his personal affairs, where there are divorces and separations a sort of norm in the film industry he is one who was not much affected by controversies.People say has in recent times he has become big mouthed by challenging the likes of amitabh bachan but he has never personally targetted him and infact always respected him as a legendry figure its the media which has wrongly potrayed him in bad light. One thing as his huge fan i would like him is to quit smoking because he is such a icon especialy among youngsters he just can be more responsible.Apart from that shahrukh will truly remain the badshah of bollywood for many more years to come!!!!

Great indian directors
I am not really a big film buff, but there are some filmakers i realy admire especially someone like hrikesh mukerjee, mani ratnam, and in recent times nagesh kukunoor. The works of a great director is visible at the very first onset when the visuals, the way a particular scence is being coordinated and narration of story is done, for instance if you take mani ratnam especially if you see his earlier works in tamil the prime importance is given to the script rather than other aspects, even a certain silence in a particular scence has the power to express a lot!!Ofcourse every director has his or her own way or genre of work.If you take for instance hrikesh mukerjee his way of filmmaking primarily focussed on the simple instances in life which we all miss out and human emotions and mostly tapped the natural character of human being. If you take someone like karan johar which some may not include in great directors but his films of genre entertainers do have some niche audiences who are very much happy with the film he makes and may be called as "paisa vasool" films.Even the very likes of david dhawan and priyadarshan who basically create comedies which may be seem sometimes senseless ones but are able to make people laugh and reliev them of stress.Or the more creative director like sanjay leela bansali who creativity and sets are more of focus than the film itself.but his khamoshi was hugely appreciated even tough not accepted by audiences. All and all every film maker is born with certain special talent which he tries to convey thru his work and some are expertise in that and win accodales but what makes the director special is when his/her film becomes a superduper hit, then he is automatically termed a great director from both critics and audiences side!!

The great indian middle class!!
Well you people might be thinking why this lady is posting on such a serious issue, well to begin with, the changing culture of indian public especially the booming middle class which someyears back was too conscious to spend graciously now doesnt mind to spend a little more for the quality sake.Dating back to the beginning of 90's when the so called IT boom was beginning to expand the large indian middle class was slowly opening up,and now they make up one of the biggest consumers are concerened, whether it is malls, multiplexes or sometimes even pubs and discos. They don't mind spending that extra bucks whether its for their children or for themselves. And this confidence in them is from the liberalisation and globalisation whcih started in 90's and is now at its peak now with all the sectors whether its public or private, whether its IT or banking sector, and ofcourse the BSE stock exchange with its all time high position. And the good part of all this is that this great indian middle class makes up for the largest population of india,so if we want to see india reach to the stature of developed nation this section will be playing a very important role.
